Dr. Mary Healey will give an introduction to Scripture on Oct 7th and Oct. 14th . Dr. Healey has a doctorate in Scripture from the Gregorian in Rome. We will meet on consecutive Sundays deepening our knowledge of COVENANT in the Old and New Testament. Please bring your Bible and discover the Living Word of God.

CONTEMPLATION AS A WAY OF LIFE

Talks, group meditation, individual reflection, small and large group sharing.

Sister Rose Mary Dougherty has been active as a spiritual director and in retreat ministry for many years, with special focus on contemplative prayer. For 25 years she was one of the leaders of Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Bethesda. She continues her work as a retreat leader, spiritual director, and companion with various groups, including hospice care-givers and homeless people living with AIDS. Sister Rosemary has written 3 books on spiritual direction and prayer published by Paulist Press.

The Retreat will be held at
St. Raphael’s Church in the Upper Room.

Bring a bag lunch. Drinks and fruit will be provided.
